I build things. Why? Because I want the best in my studio, and most gear on the market is compromised in some way or another. I focus on developing gear which outperforms the specs I need and sounds the best it possibly can. Certain cases involve intensive computer simulation and acoustic measurement, while others depend entirely on listening and making adjustments through countless trial and error.
If you’re interested in using some of the gear I’ve developed in your own studio, please contact me. I have no intention of being a manufacturer but am willing to build the occasional one-off for friends and very often have stacks of prototypes I’m no longer using.
Check out my Instagram and YouTube channel if you’d like to keep up with these projects.

Most of my time spent working on a design based on the original design for the Mojave MA200. My focus was to build a similar circuit but with much higher quality components. Inspired by a series of microphones built by Howard Gale
